Update — July14, 2020
Hello Miyagi Team Families,
As many have heard, on July 13th, Governor Newsom has ordered the closure of indoor operations for certain businesses statewide, as well as indoor operations for certain businesses in counties on the County Monitoring List. Because of this order, we have decided to pause our recreational classes but will continue with our team until we have a clearer direction from Placer County.
Recreational Classes:
Under these measures, we will have to pause recreational classes once again effective immediately. We hope Placer County will come off of the county monitored list quickly and we will be able to resume as planned. Until then, all class accounts will be put on pause. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
Team:
Team practice will continue as we have been, with distanced, limited workouts. We feel that our team practices fall closer to the day camp category, which has not been ordered to close and therefore will continue until we hear otherwise from our local officials.

Update — June14, 2020
Hello Miyagi Team Families,
Reopening BEGINS
June 15th, 2020 – Open to Competitive Team.
Modified schedule below for conditioning, drills, and basics to get back in shape. Please arrive at the gym 15 min prior to the start of workout to allow time for check-in.
If March tuition was fully paid, there will be no team tuition charge for June. Team tuition will resume in July. July hours are TBD. Please check your Parent Portal for any outstanding balances and contact us if you have any questions.

UPDATE — April 8, 2020
Dear Miyagi Gym Families,
We hope this email finds you and your loved ones in good health.
Closure Update
With the shelter-in-place and Placer County school closures extended until May 1st, we will have to follow guidelines and continue our closure. We hope to re-open May 1st, but as you know, this situation is on-going and things are changing every day. When we are able to get a clearer vision on a re-opening date, we will update you on tuition/makeups.
Our Promise
We repeat: Our promise to you, your children, the amazing Miyagi Gymnastics Academy staff and the community—Miyagi Gym will weather this storm and come back strong. To whatever extent necessary, every dollar we have ever saved will be pledged to our recovery and rebuilding.
Moving Forward
While we know there is nothing that can take the place of being physically in the gym, we are looking into online gymnastics programs we can offer our students. Stay tuned!
